Welcome back A-rod + Instant replay experimenteddoes anyone really care about a-rod or jetter anymore. i think are competing for the pitty award and which one of them is more important to the team. as for the instant replay, they need to keep it out of baseball or it's going to get out of hand with balls and strikes and game will drag on even more. |

Welcome back A-rod + Instant replay experimentedThe more I think about instant replay the more I dislike it. Controversary and disputes about a play are what makes baseball fun. At heart baseball is a simple game and controlled by the umpire. IR would just take away from that. If you have IR for home runs, how long before it comes to plays at the plate and then on throws to first base/ Most of the time umpires get it right. Let them run the game. |

Welcome back A-rod + Instant replay experimentedI disagree ... i think that if instant replay is used only on fair / foul homerun calls then it should be taken into consideration. But that's where we need to draw the line in the sand with the replay. Much like the NBA did for replays at the end of the game. It's the only time they can use the replay. |

Welcome back A-rod + Instant replay experimentedA-Rod being back is ggod for the game whether you are a Yankee fan or not(I'm not). At present he is the games biggest star and having him on the bench is like golf without Tiger, just not as interesting. As for replay, if they leave it only to disputed homeruns, I agree that the time has come. As to whether a catch was made, a runner was thrown out on a steal, or any other play, I do not like the idea. |
